Fisker has announced the date of its upcoming earnings release on Star Wars Day.
Fisker announced it will report its Q1 2022 financial results after market close on Star Wars Day — Wednesday, May 4, 2022. We know Fisker is working on many futuristic projects like Project PEAR, but it’s just a coincidence the Q1 2022 earnings call will be on May the 4th. Likely no connection between Fisker and Star Wars aside from they are both incredible creations!
Consensus estimates for Q1 2022 are ($0.39)/share with revenue of $0.00 million. The loss can be attributed to the many EV programs in the Fisker pipeline including the ramp of the Fisker Ocean program. Any revenue earned in this quarter will be from sales of Fisker-branded merchandise. We look forward to the update of the business, Fisker Ocean reservation numbers, and the latest with other EV programs.
The financial release on May 4th will be followed by a conference call at 2 p.m. PT (5 p.m. ET). Speakers on the call will be Henrik Fisker, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer; Dr. Geeta Gupta-Fisker, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer; and Dr. Burkhard Huhnke, Chief Technology Officer. We also will have a new face and voice on this earnings call.
The company also announced the appointment of Frank Boroch as Vice President of Investor Relations and Treasury on April 11, 2022. Boroch will be replacing Dan Galves who left just after the last earnings call. Frank comes from Hyundai Capital America. He is based in Fisker’s Manhattan Beach, CA headquarters.
Note: Fisker tweeted a May 5th release date for Q1 2022 earnings, but they refer to the press release which states Wednesday, May 4, 2022. The correct date is what is listed in the press release. Whether earnings is on Star Wars Day or Cinco de Mayo, we will have two things to celebrate.
