Today, we’re having a look at where Fisker originally planned to build Experience Centers in the United States. You can think of a Fisker Lounge as a brand experience center. In the original July 2020 Fisker Investor Presentation, the company shared their Top 10 most desirable US locations. We’re going to have a look at these, but first let’s explain what could offered at your nearest Fisker Lounge.
What is a Fisker Lounge?
Fisker Lounges will offer an immersive brand experience. Firstly, the customer journey throughout Fisker Lounges will use storytelling around sustainability, technology, and a new model for EV ownership. Secondly, Fisker will offer virtual factory tours of Magna using AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality) experiences. Thirdly, the company will use Fisker Lounges for test drives and a place for customers to interact with vehicle materials to learn the story behind them. Fourthly, Fisker plans to create a family-friendly environment with zoned spaces. Fisker Lounges will offer complete EV visualization, specifications, and in-store ordering. Lastly, Fisker brand specialists will be there for you to start your concierge relationship as you embark on your EV ownership journey.
Top 10 Locations
Below are the Top 10 locations from the original investor presentation. Recently, some of these locations have been confirmed by the company whereas others have not. It gives us a pretty good indication of where Fisker Lounges could pop-up next here in the United States. However, we can make a strong argument to Fisker that they should focus on build experience centers in other cities first.

#1 – Los Angeles, CA
This location makes a lot of sense for an experience center since it’s where Fisker is located. Los Angeles is the center of car culture throughout the US, maybe even the world. It will allow the company to perfect the customer experience before scaling it the Fisker Lounge concept throughout the world. Los Angeles, CA has a population of 12.4 million people too. A lot of people to potentially purchase a Fisker Ocean.
#2 – New York City, NY
Where dreams come true and big lights will inspire you…NYC is hustling and bustling with a population of 18.8 million people. Makes sense to be at #2 even though there is a lot of talk about Miami in this spot. Why, we don’t know!? We hope Fisker makes this location it’s second Lounge in the USA like the original investor deck shows.
#3 – Houston, TX
Houston, we have a problem. Yes, it is that Houston. The world capital of Space Exploration and potentially a future home for a Fisker Lounge. This city ranks as the fourth most populated city in the USA with 6.6 million people behind Chicago. A city built around oil now transitioning to electric vehicles — yes!
#4 – Miami, FL
With a population of 6.2 million people, Miami is known for pristine beaches, extravagant nightlife, and nice weather year-around. This sounds like a perfect place to bring a Fisker Ocean storefront.
#5 – Seattle, WA
One of our favorite cities and an excellent choice for a Fisker Ocean experience center. It’s literally a green city with greenery surrounding it year-around, known as the Emerald City. This city is home to 4.1 million people. A lot of the people in Seattle are environmentally conscious. It’s where the coffee tastes better in cold weather. Home to some of the country’s most innovative companies and tech savvy consumers.
#6 – San Francisco, CA
It’s San Francisco, CA. What more is there to say? Well, the City by the bay has a population of 3.3 million people known for the Golden Gate Bridge, steep streets, and Alcatraz. In 2023 it will be the home of a Fisker Ocean experience center. Wonder if people will wait in long lines here for Fisker Ocean like they do the iPhone at the Apple Store?
#7 – Chicago, IL
When we think of Chicago, Wrigley Field comes to mind, hot dogs, Chicago deep-dish style pizza, Al Capone, and the Fisker Ocean? Yes, Henrik Fisker himself has confirmed the Fisker Ocean will get a store in the third most populated city in the United States. The Windy City has a population of 8.9 million people who could purchase the Fisker Ocean. We hope Fisker moves this city up to the top of the list.
#8 – Phoenix, AZ
4.6 million people are located in one of the hottest cities in the nation. Phoenix is a scorcher during the summer months. It’s not somewhere you want to own EcoLeather seats — go for the EcoSuede in this hot climate! This city made Fisker’s top 10 list, which means a Lounge could be coming your way in 2023. You could take your Fisker Ocean to one of the city’s championship golf courses much like Fisker is doing at Pebble Beach later this week.
#9 – Atlanta, GA
Atlanta is one of the coolest cities in the United States with a population just over 6 million people. It’s the home of Centennial Olympic Park, world of Coca-Cola, and the Georgia Aquarium. In fact, the Georgia Aquarium is one of the world’s largest marine centers. Atlanta is a perfect location to sell some Fisker Ocean electric SUVs. You heard it here first, Fisker should partner with an aquarium to help promote marine life, sustainability, and conservation.
#10 – Denver, CO
Last but not least, with a population at nearly 3 million people, Denver tops the list at the bottom spot. The Mile High City is very green literately and figuratively. It’s marketed as a city where urban sophistication meets outdoor adventure. Fisker hasn’t mentioned this city other than in the original investor deck, but could confirm this location shortly.
