Nearly 3-months since the start of Fisker Ocean production and today we get ready for the Big Game with Super Bowl 57.
Today, we’re nearly 3-months since the start of Fisker Ocean production in Graz, Austria. It also happens to be the day of the Big Game. Yes, Super Bowl 57 starts in a few hours. While we’re not huge football fans we have to cheer for something. While we think the Philadelphia Eagles will win over the Kansas City Chiefs we love rooting for the underdog. In fact, we’re going to cheer on Fisker.
We’re still hoping Fisker gets in the game today so to speak. We surely thought Fisker would take advantage of the Super Bowl like they did last year. The company didn’t have a splashy multi-million dollar ad on television. Instead, they held a Game Day Giveaway. Fisker gave fans a chance to win a Fisker Ocean Sport as well as other prizes.
Currently, all of Fisker’s social media accounts are quiet the morning of Super Bowl 57. No pop-up locations for the 1 million plus visitors visiting Phoenix for the Big Game. There hasn’t been a contest announced like last year. Not a mention of Super Bowl anything. Maybe Fisker will announce something before the Big Game starts? Let’s hope for an upset with a Hail Mary pass in the 4th quarter!
This Week in Fisker
Fisker showed us a few things this week. Henrik Fisker showed off the first fully built right-hand drive Fisker Ocean at Magna Steyr for UK customers (one of the company’s launch markets). Fisker revealed Henrik’s favorite Fisker Ocean configurations including his favorite exterior, interior, and wheel picks. Then, Fisker released a short video clip of Abbie Eaton back on the Bridgestone test track performing various driving maneuvers. Late Friday, Fisker announced the timing for their Q4 2022 earnings results, which will take place after the market close on February 27th.
Fisker Ocean Competition Ranked
We wanted to share with you a fun video that includes the ranking of Fisker Ocean competition. The Fisker Ocean and virtually every other electric vehicle are stack ranked and awards are given out. I enjoyed his video. I trust his opinion. I put my deposit down because I believed the Ocean had the chance to be “the car”. Unfortunately, I have had more bad vibes than good ones. I was criticized when I shared I couldn’t get Radgiver to say that a car has been completed. Now that a right handed Ocean has been completed, where are the pics of the interior, the answers about service, loner cars, etc……opinions from those outside of Fiskerati describe the interior as cheap and uncomfortable. When do independent reporters get a chance to review?
Just so you know we are independent. The seats we tested in Graz, Austria (Black Abyss Plus and Mariana) were comfortable. You can choose to either believe us or not. When it comes to the word “cheap”, reviews we’ve seen on YouTube always complain about the dashboard and plastic parts throughout the vehicle. The quality of these parts are no different than that of the Tesla Model 3 we own. The interior design is minimalistic. That’s a positive in our book, but everyone has different preferences.
