Fisker will publish their extensive ESG report next month after their earnings call showing exactly how the Fisker Ocean is made.

Today, Henrik reaffirmed Fisker’s commitment to publish a fully detailed ESG report in August. He said the company measures the exact amount of recycled and biodegradable materials used to make the Fisker Ocean. Henrik went on to say the Fisker Ocean is made in a CO2 neutral factory, which will also be included in the extensive ESG report.

Over the weekend, Henrik shared the Fisker Ocean uses 100 pounds of recycled and biodegradable materials when he confirmed the Ocean will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The company published their 2022 Environmental Policy earlier this year. The policy sets performance standards for Fisker and its suppliers. Fisker mentioned it setup an internal portal to help educate and measure ESG practices across its business. The company uses it to keep track of upstream sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, use phase, and end-of-life recycling. For example, this system helps the company track and understand how the Fisker Ocean is made and how the company conducts its business.

Previously, we’ve talked about how the Fisker Ocean will be the world’s most sustainable electric vehicle. This allows Fisker to lower its carbon footprint as the company aims to produce a climate neutral vehicle by 2027.
