Henrik at Magna Reviewing Fisker Oceans off the Manufacturing Line

Less than 10 days until the official start of production as Henrik and team continues to review Fisker Oceans off the line at Magna Steyr.

Today, we are now in single digits until the official start of production of the Fisker Ocean at Magna Steyr. There are only nine days until the first sellable vehicle is produced at the CO2 neutral factory in Graz, Austria. Moments ago, Henrik Fisker shared a new photo of the Fisker Ocean in Great White from Magna Steyr. The electric SUV pictured in glossy white paint has a nice pairing with what appears to be Sea Salt interior.

Henrik continues to share photos from Magna as Fisker gets closer and closer to the start of production. Yesterday, Henrik shared a photo of the Commissioning Area at Magna Steyr. In the photo you can see nearly a dozen Fisker Oceans in various colors or camouflage wraps. It appears the Fisker team at Magna continue to review each and every Fisker Ocean produced on the high volume assembly line. They want to ensure every electric vehicle is built to the highest quality.

Currently, Fisker plans to build 42,400 electric SUVs in 2023 out of the Graz factory with its partner Magna Steyr. The company says they continue to see strong demand for their Fisker Ocean. Fisker achieved their 2022 goal of hitting 50,000 reservations for the electric SUV by the end of the year. The company currently has over 62,000 Fisker Ocean reservations. Reserving a Fisker Ocean remains $250, which secures your place in line to purchase the electric vehicle.

  1. Has Fisker released any info around how many Ocean reservations were converted to orders? I’m trying to figure out if I will receive mine in 2023.

What are your thoughts?
