As expected two weeks ago, we’re continuing to see a dip in traffic to Fisker’s website but expect it to rise in July ahead of Fisker Ocean One purchase.
Ahead of Fisker earnings today, we are making rounds on sites to see where Fisker website and app traffic stand. Since Alexa has shutdown their global traffic rank site, we now are going to begin using Google Trends. Overall, website traffic is down and mobile app rankings steady on Apple AppStore and declining in Google Play.
We expected this trend to continue and begin to see a ramp in traffic across the board to rise in July ahead of Fisker Ocean One purchases. These trends have a direct correlation to reservation numbers which have slowed in the short-term. Today, we will get an update on reservation numbers.
In the charts below, there are similar to the trend in Week 15. Below are two Google Trend charts for both “Fisker” and “Fisker Ocean” searches. Here is the current trend of the search term “Fisker.”
Google Trend for “Fisker Ocean” searches.
Apple AppStore Rank
Two weeks ago, The Fisker Flexee app ranked 165 in Norway, 215 in Denmark, 330 in Sweden, and 444 in Austria. All four countries from two weeks ago remain and rank is steady. We now see new countries come into play including Croatia, Slovakia, Colombia, and Portugal.
Google Play Rank
On Google Play, two weeks ago, Fisker’s app held a Top 100 rank for two countries, Top 500 rank for seven countries, and Top 1,000 rank for eight countries. That has substantially changed this week. The good news is the two countries ranking two-weeks ago in the Top 100 remain but they’ve dropped position. Germany had improvement, but United States dropped from 265 to 323 in the past two weeks.
