Fisker to Tesla Employees: Join Our Team

Working from home is here to stay, but some CEOs including Tesla’s Elon Musk are stuck in the past and companies like Fisker will benefit.

Today, Fisker’s talent recruiters are trying to capitalize on Elon Musk’s latest stumble. According to Reuters, Musk asked employees to return to the office or to leave the company. He said that all employees are required to spend a minimum of 40 hours in the office per week. Musk went on to say that “if you don’t show up, we will assume you have resigned.”

This comes as Fisker has 242 job openings on its career site. In an effort to fill open roles, Senior Recruiters at Fisker have taken to LinkedIn. For example, we came across two posts that specifically call out Tesla. One post says, “Tesla Employees who wish to remain working remotely, Fisker is the place for you! We are staying remote!” Another post said, “For our on-site roles, we are currently on a hybrid schedule of 1 to 2 days in office.”

This flexibility is sure to attract talented employees at Tesla. Fisker offers remote roles for some positions throughout the world. However, not all roles offer the ability to work from home. Fisker is clear which roles are in-person, remote or a combo of both.

Open remote roles:

  • Software Engineers – Backend and Full Stack, Front-End, Android, iOS
  • Salesforce Architects
  • Developers and Cloud Marketing
  • TPM/ Digital Infotainment
  • Data Scientists and Systems Design

Fisker’s culture

Currently, Fisker now has over 450 employees throughout the company. In fact, most employees at Fisker were hired during the pandemic. Working remote was the only option for them. The company isn’t slowing down either. The company is in hyper-development mode working on various EV projects. Fisker released a graphic with their leadership principles. It describes the company’s vision, mission, and culture. Maybe Tesla employees will enjoy the transparent culture at Fisker.

All Zoomed out

Fisker Employees at HQ.

Working remote is not for everyone. Many people are feeling burnt out from video calls. Employees have been itching to get back into the office.

In reply to an employee post on LinkedIn about an in-person team meet up at Fisker HQ, Henrik said, “Great to see the team coming together in “real life” !!! Zoooomed out…”

This sentiment is felt by many. For those that want it, it’s good news Fisker is keeping with the work from home option. It certainly will resonate with many Tesla employees.

Let’s hope Elon’s latest stumble helps Fisker attract new talent to further the company’s mission. We love seeing smiles on employee faces whether working from the office or at home.
