Fisker releases inaugural ESG report in advance of production starting for the Fisker Ocean electric SUV in November 2022.
Today, Fisker published its inaugural ESG report for 2021. The company did this like they said they would do before production of the Fisker Ocean. We are now 99 days away from Fisker Ocean production, which takes place at Magna’s CO2 climate neutral factory.
The ESG report is titled, “DRIVEN BY IMPACT” as the company continues to set new standards for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Fisker’s ESG impact report demonstrates how environmental and social principles transform into practices across the company.

It’s unusual for a pre-production company to report on people and the planet practices, but transparency and ESG are fundamental to our purpose. We innovate and push traditional methodologies to improve the planet and lives of people. Our tens of thousands of reservation holders and broad base of stockholders expect us to challenge the status quo. We count on our suppliers and business partners, like Magna’s carbon neutral plant in Austria assembling the Fisker Ocean, to do the same. We want to motivate other companies in every industry to follow our lead, building a global community focused on what matters.”

In the report, Fisker reaffirms its goal to build carbon-neutral vehicle by 2027. Also during the same year, Fisker has goal to produce over 1,000,000 electric vehicles. In the press release, the company stated production of the Fisker Ocean electric SUV is on track to start in November 2022. Below is a copy of Fisker’s inaugural ESG report.
