There is a lot to love about the Fisker Ocean beyond its breathtaking design. The Fisker Ocean will be the most sustainable and innovative vehicle on the market. It starts production on November 2022. The EV will be packed with segment-leading features that will make our lives more enjoyable. We’ve picked a few of our favorite Fisker Ocean features we think you will enjoy most.
“Our mission is to create the world’s most innovative and sustainable vehicles that are also affordable, and it all starts with the Fisker Ocean as we fully embrace a clean future for all.”

California Mode
Living in California, it’s fun to cruise the coast with all the windows open. And especially in a convertible car with the breeze blowing through your hair. Nothing like the feel of the sun shining down on you. Imagine having all the windows in a vehicle rolling down with a single push of a button. That is the simplest way of describing California Mode on the Fisker Ocean. At the push of a button, the Fisker Ocean will lower all its windows and retract its sliding roof to morph into California Mode. This feature will be available on the Fisker Ocean Ultra, Fisker Ocean Extreme, and Fisker Ocean One. California Mode will provide you an open-air, convertible-like experience, packed into an SUV. Let’s hope the windows will roll up with a push of a button too!

SolarSky Roof
In the mid 90’s, we started seeing homeowners begin installing solar panels on the roof of their homes. This is apparent within our local community. Solar has become widely adopted as a proven way to lower your monthly electricity bill. Not to mention it is a clean, emissions-free, and renewable energy source. Adopting renewable energy has become a way of life. This is the case for many in this state and throughout our nation as we all take climate action. It makes you wonder why more automobile manufactures haven’t adopted solar on their vehicles?
Enter the Fisker Ocean and the SolarSky Roof. This is another reason what makes the Fisker Ocean so appealing to us. Think about it, having a solar panel on the entire roof of your SUV. That’s a great way to take advantage of the sun to generate energy. And your EV’s battery can store the electricity.
The Fisker Solar Roof will supply between 1,500 to 2,000 miles of range per year. This based under sunny skies like here in California. Ideal conditions assume solar irradiation of 5.4 kWh/m2/day and steady commuter driving.
The feature won’t be free, but it seems like a no brainer. Especially, if you’re saving $350 to $450 a year at $6/gallon for gas. The Fisker SolarSky Roof will pay off over the lifetime of the vehicle. Not to mention, it’s good for the environment. The Fisker SolarSky roof will be available on the Fisker Ocean Extreme and Fisker Ocean One.

Infotainment with Hollywood Mode
The Revolve screen in the Fisker Ocean is an homage to the city where the company was born. The Revolve screen is a high-resolution 17.1″ screen. It boasts two orientations. Portrait Control Mode is used when driving is default. Landscape Hollywood Mode is used when parked to watch movies or play video games. The infotainment screen rotates with the push of a button. When Hollywood Mode is combined with premium audio options, it will create an immersive viewing experience. It will be like no other for anyone seated in the SUV. Whether you’re a movie watcher or someone that likes to binge watch TV shows, we are pretty sure it will be the feature you didn’t know you needed until you have it.

I think the rear view mirror should be connected to the rear camera so you actually have a camera view not a mirror view while driving
Front seats should have both options heated and cooled as well
Rear passenger seats should be able to slide back and forth as well
