Our Fisker Ocean Pre-Delivery Inspection Underway as Delivery Approaches

Our Fisker Ocean has arrived in the United States and it currently undergoing a pre-delivery inspection to ensure its readiness for delivery.

Today, we have some exciting news for those following our Fisker Ocean journey! Our Vehicle Coordinator and Fisker Advisor have been in contact with us to share some new details about our Fisker Ocean One delivery. We received a quick phone call and short email, and they were the sweetest music to our ears! According to them, our electric SUV arrived in the United States yesterday. The message said, “Your Fisker Ocean has arrived! It is going through our pre-delivery inspection at our service facility.”

As eager as we were to catch a glimpse of our Ocean One among the other Fisker vehicles in the video clips and photos shared by the company, we didn’t spot it. But no worries! We were told our electric SUV is undergoing a thorough pre-delivery inspection at Fisker’s service facility in Los Angeles. The company ensures that each vehicle arrives in perfect condition then cleans and preps them for handover once they arrive in their protective coverings like the one pictured above. We were informed that our Ocean One will soon be ready for delivery.

Submission of Documents and Registration Process

In anticipation of the big day, we have already submitted our driver’s license and insurance documents to Fisker. This step will facilitate the registration process for our new electric SUV. And as of right now, we’re waiting for our Fisker Vehicle Coordinator to provide us with the next step! While we haven’t received an exact delivery date from Fisker just yet, they did share some incredibly exciting news: we could get our car as early as this weekend or early next week. As Henrik Fisker said over the weekend, the company is indeed working day and night to get vehicles delivered to customers as quickly as it can.

A Closer Look at Other Deliveries

Henrik Fisker, the designer behind the Fisker Ocean, surprised us yesterday morning by confirming that more Ocean One vehicles have arrived for customers in both Munich, Germany, and Los Angeles, CA. He personally shared a few photos and a video clip to confirm their arrival. Moreover, earlier today, Fisker made another announcement, stating that European deliveries will continue tomorrow. The company expressed their enthusiasm by saying, “fully charged for continuing our European deliveries tomorrow.” This news comes as no surprise for those that tuned in to All-Things Fisker last night.

As we discussed last night, we were fortunate enough to receive photos from a Fiskerati reader based in Munich who had visited the parking garage at Motorworld. We showcased these photos and the scene was a sight to behold (video below). 11 Fisker Ocean Ones on-site, showcasing their “Black and Blue” exteriors in shades of Big Sur Blue, Mariana, and Night Drive. These beautiful vehicles will soon find their way to their eagerly awaiting owners, with some scheduled for delivery as early as Friday.

Looking Ahead to the Future

With our Fisker Ocean One on its way to us, we can’t help but feel a sense of gratitude and anticipation to be one of the lucky ones to receive our car during the first wave of deliveries. The wait has been worth it, and soon we will be driving our very own electric SUV much like the one we test drive in November in Graz, Austria. However, we have a feeling the vehicle will actually have improved greatly since then.

As we eagerly anticipate the delivery of our electric SUV, we can’t help but share in the joy of other customers receiving their vehicles in Europe and Southern California.
