We have just taken delivery of our Fisker Ocean One, so get ready for us to share our experiences with you.
Today, we are excited to announce that our Fisker Ocean One has arrived! Yesterday, our Fisker Vehicle Coordinator called to let us know that our Fisker Ocean would be delivered in the afternoon. At around 3:30 pm, a massive dually truck with dual rear wheel tires on both sides transported our electric SUV from Los Angeles to San Diego on a trailer.
A small crew of Fisker employees accompanied the Fisker Ocean during its southbound journey for the home delivery experience. The escort vehicle, a Fisker Ocean with a Big Sur Blue exterior, made the trip as well. It was an exciting day for us! Fisker successfully hit the revised delivery date, delivering our vehicle during the second half of July.
Spotting Fisker Oceans on the Road
Yesterday, we sold our Tesla Model 3, managing to find a buyer within three days of listing the vehicle online. We were quite fortunate to sell our old car and take delivery of our brand new Fisker Ocean One on the same day. While traveling back home with the new owner of our old electric vehicle, we first laid eyes on our Fisker Ocean parked along the side of the road. There it was with a beautiful Night Drive exterior, Black Abyss Plus interior, and 22″ F3b SlipStream wheels.
After pulling over and getting out of the car, we saw the dually truck driving away. Fisker employees, two Fisker Advisors named Henry and Sean, were preparing and polishing our new Ocean after its 90-mile journey south. Two other people oversaw the vehicle transport. While they were getting the vehicle ready, we went inside and completed the online registration paperwork. As we finished, we heard two Fisker Oceans coming down our steep driveway. A quick peak outside, we saw our shiny new electric vehicle outside.
The Official Handover and Walk-Through
Fisker Advisors Henry and Sean presented the car to us in front of our garage. We officially made the all-electric Fisker Ocean SUV our car by quickly signing the physical CA DMV paperwork. After a short drive nearby, we parked the vehicle, and Fisker Advisor Henry began walking us through the Fisker Ocean’s features and how to operate the vehicle.
We familiarized ourselves with the car by testing out various features. For example, we adjusted the steering wheel, seating, and mirrors, and set automatic lights. Additionally, we learned how to use various buttons on the steering wheel, put the vehicle into different drive modes, use California Mode, and pair our phone. Basically, we asked questions and quickly learned the basics to get us going.
After the formal walk-through, the other two gentlemen that joined the Fisker Advisors taught us how to safely remove the covers off the 22″ F3b SlipStream wheels. Since taking delivery, we’ve consulted the digital user manual a few times. Overall, Henry, Sean, and the other two gentlemen who joined them created an exceptional and memorable delivery experience, making up for the challenges experienced along the way.

Hoping to get my silver Extreme before EOY and ask Joe Raiti of Raitis Rides if he would be interested in reviewing it in the Tampa area.

So frustrating with all the delivery date changes, I’m beginning to think it’s on purpose to build all the excitement! In August we got the first date of delivery as Sept 19. Mid August it became Sept 21. Yesterday we signed all the paper work and i thought im getting my highly anticipated Ocean any day now! Today is that day and the date changes to Oct 1. Ugh.

Sean, out of curiosity…how long after you signed your online paperwork did you get delivery of your vehicle?
It took approximately 24 to 48 hours, although two months ago, there were fewer vehicles to prepare and deliver compared with today.
