Fisker shares ambitious plans to meet growing Fisker Ocean demand and improve customer experience.

Today, in an exciting announcement, Fisker has revealed its plans to significantly increase the production capacity of the Fisker Ocean all-electric SUV, starting this September. This move is part of the company’s strategy to cater to the surging demand for the Fisker Ocean in North America and Europe. In addition to ramping up production, Fisker is also expanding its retail stores, delivery, and service operations across multiple markets.

Fisker is set to substantially boost its production capabilities. For instance, Fisker plans to increase production from approximately 180 vehicles per day in September to approximately 300 per day in the fourth quarter of 2023. The company says it is diligently working with its suppliers to achieve this impressive run rate by October. Fisker intends to deliver the vehicles produced to customers in various European markets. This includes Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Additionally, these newly built electric SUVs will also be sent to Canada and the United States, both East and West Coasts, as well as other states.

As of the week of September 4th, Fisker’s production partner, Magna Steyr, has manufactured a total of 3,123 customer vehicles. Nearly 3,000 of these electric SUVs have already been handed over to Fisker. In the United States, over 450 Fisker Ocean vehicles have been either delivered to customers or are currently in the delivery process. Furthermore, more than 1,500 additional vehicles are en route to the US by ship right now, and will begin arriving this weekend. Meanwhile, Europe has received nearly 1,000 vehicles, with 325 already delivered to eager customers.

Fisker anticipates receiving all 5,000 Fisker Ocean One launch edition vehicles from Magna by September 30th, 2023. The company’s goal is to deliver as many of these highly anticipated vehicles as possible by the end of September. However, some deliveries may extend into October. This aligns with Fisker’s commitment to ensuring that each customer receives their vehicle promptly and in top-notch condition. It also means we are still going to see a massive wave of Fisker Ocean deliveries by the end of the month with the arrival of multiple oceangoing shipping vessels.

Driving Excellence Through Continuous Improvement

One exciting aspect of these deliveries is that all vehicles will come equipped with the latest version of Fisker software, version FM29 OS 1.06. This software update incorporates various enhancements and improvements based on valuable customer feedback. It is the software running on our Fisker Ocean right now and it is excellent! This latest software has leveled up the customer experience throughout our entire vehicle.

The best part is that Fisker won’t stop here. Fisker has been incorporating customer feedback into their software development process at an impressive speed. Fisker’s commitment to ongoing software updates will benefit all customers in the long run, with more updates expected in the coming weeks. These updates will consistently improve the user experience, guaranteeing that Fisker Ocean owners have access to the latest technology and features.

A Commitment to Customer-Centric Innovation

Henrik Fisker emphasized the company’s commitment to its customers and reservation holders. He expressed gratitude for their patience as Fisker embarks on the ambitious production ramp-up. According to Henrik, Fisker customers and reservation holders have played a pivotal role in the brand’s journey. The result of their feedback is now showing up in our vehicles.” This highlights the company’s dedication to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
