Fisker is gearing up to achieve a significant milestone this Friday, as it gets ready to deliver its first-ever Fisker Ocean, marking a historic moment for the company.

Today, marks the start of what we believe will be a historic week for Fisker. The company is preparing to deliver its first Fisker Ocean on Friday. A lucky Fisker customer, residing in one of the seven European launch markets, will be the first recipient of the limited edition launch vehicle. The launch markets consist of Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. Fisker has not disclosed which country will receive the first Fisker Ocean One. However, we reached out to Fisker to see if they will share anything ahead of time about the first Ocean One delivery.
As Fisker Ocean deliveries begin this week, we are left wondering about the timing of Fisker Finance and trade-ins. As of now, we are not aware of Fisker requesting any European customers to secure their auto loans. Previously, Fisker had announced its partnership with Santander Consumer Finance to allow European customers to obtain financing through the Fisker Flexee app. Furthermore, Fisker launched the Price Estimator last month, providing a sneak peek into the trade-in process. It remains unclear whether Fisker will initiate the acceptance of trade-ins this week. While it is possible that the initial Fisker Ocean One deliveries will be limited to cash customers, only time will reveal the details.
Paint Color Contest
Our curiosity about the first delivered Fisker Ocean also extends to its exterior paint color. During its showcase at both the Los Angeles Auto Show and Mobile World Congress, Fisker unveiled an all-electric Ocean SUV with a stunning Big Sur Blue exterior. Many anticipate that the matte paint color will be the color of the first delivery. Interestingly, Big Sur Blue accounts for approximately 42% of all the launch colors chosen by Fisker Ocean One customers.
Let us know what you think. Participate in the Fisker Ocean One Exterior Color Challenge contest. You could win a $5 Chipotle gift card for some free tacos! Guess the color of the first Fisker Ocean One customer delivery. Big Sur Blue is the most popular guess at 60% of the vote. We will randomly select twenty lucky winners with the correct answer. Join the contest on Fiskerati Forums and to read the rules. The contest will end on May 5th or upon the delivery of the first Fisker Ocean One, whichever comes first. Good luck!
This Week In Fisker
We streamed Episode 25 of All-Things Fisker earlier this week. We discussed European certification and regional deliveries, new Fisker Ocean wheels, upcoming events, and more. New photos of a Fisker Ocean parked on a hilly San Francisco street surfaced. We got to see a stunning Big Sur Blue exterior and 22″ SlipStream wheels without covers.
Fisker also updated on the ramp-up timeline for the Fisker Ocean in the US market. Fisker’s virtual 2023 Annual Meeting of Stockholders is on Tuesday, June 6th. Moreover, this weekend, Fisker displayed the Fisker Ocean at Fully Charged Live UK South 2023 event for three days, held at Farnborough International near London. We also explained the cargo space of the Fisker Ocean. You can find all these stories and more below.
Finally, we shared Henrik Fisker will keynote a fireside chat at Future of the Car 2023 in London on May 10th, 2023. Does it have Solar Panels?
Yes, the Extreme has a SolarSky Roof.
OK. So all versions do not have a solar panel on the roof, that charges the battery?
Hm, once again I see an unfortunate misalignment, this time at the area of the luggage hatch, when its closed.
It appears at the thin rear lights, on the first photo.
The thinner they are, the easier for the human eye to notice them. If the rear lights had been bigger (not that cool) the misalignment wouldn’t been so easy detected. It is a daring design that needs to be taken care of properly, so that the misalignment doesn’t occur so easily.
Waiting eagerly on the official wltp numbers for the Ultra and Sport. Ready to order. 🙂
Still waiting on an answer about taking delivery in Europe of a USA bound order.
