Downloads slow down across the board two weeks after Mobile World Congress 2022. Android still outpaces iOS by an overwhelming margin.
The Fisker Flexee app saw a decrease in app downloads across the board during week 10 in both Google Play and the Apple App Store. This is no surprise after a drop in press coverage post Mobile World Congress 2022. MWC Barcelona 2022 began on Monday, February 28 and ended on Thursday, March 3, 2022. It still appears Android users are overwhelmingly adopting the Fisker Ocean, or at least downloading the app. We don’t expect much to happen unless Fisker ramps marketing spend. That will happen around the start of production later this year.
Google Play Rank
Downloads are slightly down from last week on Google Play. The Fisker Flexee app holds a Top 500 rank in 7 countries and Top 1,000 rank in 10 countries. A few notable observations since last week. Consumers in the Netherlands, Australia, and Portugal took notice of the Fisker Ocean as the app cracked the Top 500 app store rank this week. Germany app store rank rose from 348 to 259. Austria, Sweden, Spain, and Saudi Arabia fell from the Top 1,000 rank since last week.
Apple App Store Rank
Last week the iOS app ranked in the Top 500 for Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Mexico. This week only Denmark remains in the Top 500 while three of the countries last week fell off of App Store rank list. We see Belgium and Switzerland making an entrance and into the Top 500.
