Today, Fisker released its Fisker Ocean production numbers for the past quarter. While the company produced 1,022 class-leading Fisker Oceans, the spotlight focused on the company’s assembly rate. The Magna Steyr factory in Graz, Austria is now producing 80 Fisker Oceans per day. This production rate actually exceeds the 75 units per day mentioned during Fisker’s 3rd Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
During Q2 2023, the company has delivered an estimated 30 vehicles to customers. However, Fisker is likely to make the official number of deliveries available during its second quarter 2023 financial results. Earlier today, the company announced that it will report its Q2 2023 financial results before the market opens on Friday, August 4th, 2023. During this call, we will look for Fisker to provide updates on Fisker Ocean production, deliveries, and strategy for mitigating any supplier issues that may arise later this year.
Fisker also announced that the Magna Steyr carbon-neutral factory in Graz, Austria, is continuing to ramp up the production of Ocean One. The company stated that it will deliver more vehicles to customers in North America and Europe in July and has plans for additional customer deliveries in August. Fisker expects to complete all 5,000 Ocean One deliveries by the end of September. Achieving this goal would result in approximately $344,995,000 in revenue for Q3 2023. Fisker’s stock ended the day at $6.00 per share, an increase of $0.24 (+4.17%).
