66 Days Away, Lock-In Dates, Fisker Ocean Pop-Up Locations, Our First Review, & Investor Conferences

Nine weeks away from SOP while Henrik and the Fisker Ocean make several appearances this week and you get lock-in dates and our first review.

Today, we are now 66 days away from the start of Fisker Ocean production. That’s only nine weeks away from now. This is Issue #29 of This Week In Fisker. As we saw earlier last week, most Fisker customers that pre-ordered a Fisker Ocean saw changes to their order status, include some people who received lock-in dates. Yes, the dates when they can no longer edit their Fisker Ocean build options (e.g., color, wheels, interior). Once your lock-in date is reached, or shortly thereafter, Fisker will send your order off to Magna for production. We’ll hear more about this from Fisker really soon. Then, this week was full of new pop-up locations. The Fisker Ocean made is debut in two completely separate cities this week. Firstly, the Fisker Ocean appeared in Frankfurt Germany. We brought you some new photos of the electric SUV in Silver Lining. It will be at MyZeil through September 14th. Secondly, the Fisker Ocean in Big Sur Blue showed up in San Diego at Fully Charged Live. We shared some photos from the event with you. It was actually the first time we got to see the Fisker Ocean up close and personal. You can read more about our first review which we posted this afternoon.

Lastly, Henrik Fisker did something pretty impressive too. He attended the first of two upcoming investor conferences. He appeared at the Cowen’s Investor Conference and shared a lot of new information. For example, Henrik shared updates on Fisker Ocean reservations which now stand near 60,000. He also shared details about how the strong dollar has been a tailwind for the company. He then dropped some bombs about Fisker’s China ambitions. Henrik was the most confident we’ve ever seen him at an investor conference. Next up is the Morgan Stanley Investor Conference on Thursday where Henrik meets up with Adam Jonas in person for a fireside chat. It surely will be a sight to see!
