Today, we’re going on a virtual tour of the Magna Steyr factory. This factory is the home of the Fisker Ocean. Earlier this week we saw several fully built Fisker Oceans roll off the final assembly line. Now, you will get a closer look at the high volume assembly line at Magna Steyr. You will see robots and humans working together to build vehicles for a variety of Magna customers.
Magna builds high quality cars at their CO2 neutral factory in Graz, Austria. In fact, Magna has produced 3.7 million vehicles to date. We will follow the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, BMW 5 series, among other vehicles through the production line. You will get to see some of the finest vehicles assembled much like the Fisker Ocean, which starts official production on November 17, 2022.
As we tour various assembly lines, you’ll see vehicles built from scratch. For example, you will see riveting, framing, and roof joining to marriage of the full frame vehicle, windshield and bumper assembly. Also, the virtual tour includes the paint booth with primer and top coat application and body storage. It’s worth noting, this is just the tip of the iceberg at the Magna factory.

I’ve always been a fan of Henriq, but choosing Magna to build the Ocean is what made me order 2, and buy stock, I’ve owned 2 Teslas, I love Elon, but the cars still do have some growing pains with fit/ finish that I believe will be non existent with the Ocean.
