Test driving the all-electric Fisker Ocean is just around the corner, depending on your location and when you placed your reservation.
You may be wondering when you will get to test drive a Fisker Ocean like Abbie Eaton. The company understands many reservation holders will need to test drive the Fisker Ocean before completing their purchase.
Fisker plans to give as many early reservation holders as possible an opportunity to take the Fisker Ocean for a test drive before start of production.
To date, there are over 50,000+ reservation holders for the Fisker Ocean. Some reservation holders have a lot of questions they want answered before completing their purchase.
Other reservation holders will need to test drive the electric SUV and check out the vegan interior in-person before purchasing the Fisker Ocean. However, many reservation holders will need to wait until 2023 for a test drive.
Test Drive Locations
You will be able to test drive the Fisker Ocean at select locations later this year. One place you’ll be able to experience the Fisker Ocean is at your nearest Fisker Experience Center.
The first Fisker Experience Center will be at The Grove in Los Angeles, CA. The site is currently under construction. Fisker aims to open the Los Angeles location by August. At this time, test drives will begin for Southern California residents. This is good news for So Cal reservation holders who also happen to hold the most Fisker Ocean reservations.
In addition to the Los Angeles Fisker store, the company is slated to open seven additional experience centers in the near-future. They will be located in San Francisco, New York, Miami, Munich, London, Copenhagen, and Vienna. Timing for each experience center is TBD, but we know the Munich location will come in 2022 at the Historic Marienplatz. When Fisker was in Europe at the Copenhagen pop-up store launch, he also visited Munich. The Munich store may even coincide with the launch of the Los Angeles location.
Pop-up Test Drive Locations
This is a new an inventive idea that we’ve learned about. Much like the company is doing with its European tour of the Fisker Ocean, the company is exploring the idea of test drive pop-up locations.
Fisker goes to cities with the most reservation holders. They bring the Fisker Ocean along for a couple of weeks. You get to kick the tires and take it for a test drive. You’ll get an opportunity to get the full Fisker Ocean experience. Test drives may be prioritized based on your reservation date.
That said, make sure to download the Fisker Flexee app for Android or Apple devices. That’s where the company will first release test drive location details together with its social media accounts.

Pop up test drive locations is a great idea. I’ve had my reservation in since early March 2020, and I definitely need to test drive the Ocean before committing to the purchase. I really hope Fisker understands this. I am fortunate though, that I live in San Diego, just over 1 hour away from the LA experience center.
Hello neighbor, we’re based in San Diego too. You beat us in reserving a Fisker Ocean. We reserved in September 2020, but have been following the company since Day 1. We plan to make the journey north to The Grove in Los Angeles as soon as the Fisker Experience Center opens. Maybe we will bump into each other!
