Today, Fisker released a video from its Welcome Event with the Fisker Ocean art car at Magna’s CO2 neutral factory in Graz, Austria. The company hasn’t shared the video yet, which was posted to YouTube about 15 minutes ago. However, the company did post some photos earlier today on social media of the shindig. They captioned the photos, “Counting the days! We hosted a Welcome Event for the #FiskerTeam at our carbon-neutral production partner in Graz to ramp up for production start in November ?.”
The last time we’ve seen this Fisker Ocean masterpiece was at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show. Fisker asked artist Geoff McFetridge to paint the Fisker Ocean as an art car piece for the Fisker brand. In the YouTube video, Geoff shares his process of turning the Fisker Ocean into a work of art. One of the best takeaways was hearing Geoff describe the Fisker Ocean logo from an artist’s perspective.
