Fisker is on time for start of production of the Fisker Ocean while Henrik shares a video of the electric SUV moving down the assembly line.
Today, Henrik confirmed to us the Fisker Ocean is on time for official start of production on November 17th. That is only 27 calendar days away. We finally have less than one month to go before Fisker and Magna produce sellable vehicles. Being on time is probably the most important thing to any stakeholder, whether employee, customer, or shareholder.
Furthermore, Henrik shared a video on social media of a Fisker Ocean coming down the assembly line. In the post he said, “More Fisker Oceans coming down the assembly line.” The speed is quite impressive. You can see the Fisker Ocean moving quickly on the high volume assembly line. There are a half dozen Magna employees building a Fisker Ocean in the paint color of Great White.
Lastly, Henrik confirmed the date when the Fisker Ocean configurator will be launched. Well, sort of. He gave us a date for a date. He said the launch date for the configurator will be announced on the Q3 2022 earnings call. Fisker’s earnings call will be held on November 2nd. This will give the company a few more weeks to improve the highly anticipated 3D configurator.
Fisker Ocean Pop-Up Locations
The Fisker Ocean road tour kicks off this weekend. Fisker has four pop-up locations in the US planned over the next two weeks. The company will bring the Fisker Ocean to Seattle, Houston, Austin, and Dallas. We reached out to Fisker to find out if the latest production intent Fisker Ocean will be on display at these events. The company told us, “We can’t confirm vehicle status for these locations at this time.”
It would be nice to see the latest electric SUV like the one on display at the Paris Motor Show. Regardless, we’re planning a road trip of our own to visit the Austin location for a second viewing of the electric SUV. Make sure to check out the Fisker Ocean if it is coming to your area.
