Fisker will kick off production of the Fisker Ocean One electric vehicle on November 17, 2022.
Only 228 days left until the start of production (SOP) for the Fisker Ocean. Fisker has been working hard to hit milestone after milestone targeting an SOP date of November 17, 2022. Excitement surrounds the Fisker Ocean with employees, stakeholders, and fans as traffic to the company’s website has soared in the past 90 days.
By the end of this year, Fisker expects to have at least 50,000 reservations. Fisker announced 40,000 reservations of the Fisker Ocean this week. We expect another big announcement this month for a fleet order with a European car rental company. This will help boost reservation numbers. Fisker only needs 10,000 more reservations to hit their self-imposed goal by SOP.
There are a lot of upcoming catalysts for Fisker as well as potential partnership to be announced ahead of the Fisker Ocean launch in November. In addition to partnering with European car rental companies, we see other deals in the works. For example, on one hand we believe Fisker will partner with an innovative finance company for auto loans to purchase the Fisker Ocean. On the other hand, we could see a relationship with an online car reseller to support trade-ins. Lots to be excited about with only 228 days to go.
