Henrik Fisker briefly talks about Fisker Ocean design, features, production, homologation, reservations, and demonstrates the electric SUV.
Today, we want to share with you a video interview with Henrik Fisker at eCarExpo in Stockholm Sweden from earlier this month. This video appeared on YouTube at the beginning of the week. We made mention of it during Episode 16 of All-Things Fisker. It is definitely worth watching. There are some really good bits of information we thought were important. For example, this is where Henrik gives a quick update on Fisker Ocean reservations numbers, which are now over 63,000.

In the interview, Henrik Fisker explains why he decided to start a new car company, even after previously starting one. He discusses how his company is different from other car companies, such as by selling online direct to consumer and having large delivery centers instead of a large number of dealers. Henrik explains that Fisker is working with Magna International, a big car manufacturer, to handle manufacturing and assembly.
Henrik also notes that his company’s focus on developing cars for high volume production is unusual in the EV segment. We learn the company hired engineers from Boeing to help with aerodynamics and airflow around the vehicle. Henrik describes his personal goal of creating the world’s most sustainable car and its unique features. For instance, he talks about the Fisker Ocean having the longest range in its price class, the 17.1-inch screen, taco trays, California Mode for fresh air, and a solar roof.
