Henrik shares a behind the scenes look of field testing Fisker Ocean FI-Pilot and a glimpse of the ADAS test fleet in Detroit.

Today, Henrik Fisker said that he just got back from testing FI-Pilot on the Fisker Ocean. The Chairman and CEO provided a behind the scenes look of Fisker Ocean FI-Pilot field testing. Henrik shared a short video clip of the clear view front camera without a cover on it. It is located by the front windshield above the rearview mirror.
We’ve been waiting for an update on this FI-Pilot ADAS testing for a few weeks now. In his post, Henrik states, “I just came back from Detroit where I drove in some of our vehicles from our FI-Pilot ADAS test fleet. Some amazing work has been done by the team! This is an advanced system with 5 digital radars, multiple sensors & cameras, where we can continue to develop features and add them OTA.”
Last week, we provided a video for you to get to know Fisker Ocean FI-Pilot. This state-of-the-art technology in the Fisker Ocean will provide class leading safety features. The Fisker Ocean ADAS will have multiple sensors, including market-leading cameras, five Fisker digital radars, and sophisticated driver monitoring technology. In fact, the electric SUV will include 12 ultrasonic sensors surrounding the vehicle. Additionally, it will have one front view camera, as shown in the video below, and four surround view cameras.
