Henrik Fisker shares new video footage of robots hard at work on the Fisker Ocean production line at Magna Steyr.
Today, Henrik Fisker posted videos from the Magna Steyr manufacturing plant in Graz, Austria. He showcased the production line of the Fisker Ocean. For example, we got to see robots working on assembling the electric SUV, including the installation of a battery and dual e-motors. While standing next to the battery marriage station, Henrik exclaimed, “26 bolts, that was it, about a minute, done.”

Production of the Fisker Ocean is set to occur at Magna Steyr’s CO2 neutral factory in Graz, Austria. The company plans to start ramping up production for European customers on April 20th, which is tomorrow. Henrik’s recent video gave a glimpse of the production process and showcased how the company is gearing up for mass production of the electric SUV. The video led to speculation that production of the Fisker Ocean may have already begun ramping up.
With Fisker planning to begin deliveries of the Fisker Ocean in the beginning of May, the anticipation for European customers is rising. The video footage shared by Henrik Fisker on social media provides insight into the production process. It hints that the company is on track to fulfill its promises. The Fisker Ocean’s success is crucial for the company. Ramping up production is an essential step to achieving that success. I’m sure we all took note of the conference call last night. Things have changed. I’ve begun to believe the world wants a new EV brand. One that people can support more wholeheartedly. I think there is great opportunity for Fisker to be that brand…if Fisker can they seize the day.
