Henrik makes appearance on Fox Business News to talk about passing 50k Fisker Ocean reservations and why the company is seeing an uptick.
Today, Henrik appeared on Fox Business News to discuss the Fisker Ocean passing 50k reservations. He said the company has done minimal marketing to hit the milestone. Henrik went on to say there has been an uptick in reservations. According to Henrik, this is partly due to increasing gas prices and the value of the Fisker Ocean.
Henrik said the Fisker Ocean Extreme is seeing the highest demand among reservation holders. He talked up the SolarSky Roof, which gets an additional 1,500 miles. Henrik went on to say Fisker wants to get to a volume of 700k vehicles a year with the Fisker Ocean alone. To do that, they have to get out the entry level Fisker Ocean priced at $37,499.
The host mentioned the confusion about electric charging stations. He used the analogy of VHS vs. Beta in the 80’s to describe the charging plugs. According to Fisker, we need a common standard for electric charging plugs. There is the Tesla charging plug and a CCS plug. He thinks the U.S. government needs to work at coming up with a standard for the common EV charging plug.

Fox audience isn’t generally interested. He should be talking to outlets where the audience is actually excited about EVs, the use of recycled materials, etc. The interviewer literally blamed EVs for gas prices in this segment… Fox just isn’t a worthwhile network for any audience genuinely interested in information any more. It’s just a blanket to coddle ideologies…Not just being political, just looking at the network objectively, there’s better places to promote.
