Fisker Ocean vs. Kia EV6

The Fisker Ocean goes head-to-head with the Kia EV6 in our new video series. Which electric SUV will come out on top in this comparison?

Today, in our new Head-to-Head video series, the Fisker Ocean goes up against the Kia EV6. We compare these two electric SUVs in the video below.

The Kia EV6 was introduced in March 2021 and the Fisker Ocean comes out later this year. In fact, the Ocean One launch edition will be the first trim to roll off the production line in November. Pre-orders will be sold out soon too for the Ocean One electric SUV.

If you didn’t know, the Kia EV6 electric SUV is the cousin of the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Hyundai has a controlling stake in Kia. That’s why both of these electric vehicles are built on the same platform. However, Kia separated itself from the Ioniq 5 by stretching the design of the EV6 compact SUV. The EV6 is more of an oversized sedan than the traditional styling of a crossover or SUV.

The 2022 EV6 electric SUV starts at $41,400 and is offered in three trims including Light, Wind, and the GT-Line. This is compared to the Fisker Ocean electric SUV, which starts off at $37,499 for the Sport, $49,999 for the Ultra, and $68,999 for the Extreme. The entry level EV6 Light is most like the Ocean Sport, whereas the EV6 GT-Line is most comparable to the Fisker Ocean Ultra. The EV6 GT-Line gets an estimated range up to 310 miles vs. the Fisker Ocean Ultra at 340 miles. There is a lot to like about both electric vehicles.
