Fisker Ocean SUVs Keep Rolling off the Line

Fisker Ocean Crash Testing

The sound of the waves are getting louder as Fisker Ocean SUVs keeps rolling off the Magna Steyr assembly line.

Today, Henrik Fisker announced that Fisker Ocean SUVs keep rolling off the assembly line in Graz, Austria. Henrik and the company posted photos on various sites of Fisker Ocean SUVs lined up on the Magna Steyr test track that he raced around last month. Magna’s CO2 neutral factory in Austria, keeps assembling Fisker Ocean SUVs.

As of the Fisker Q1 2022 earnings call, Magna Steyr had built 23 out of 55 Fisker Ocean prototypes. The company had originally expected to build two a day. They may now be on this manufacturing schedule with the clock ticking down to production start date. According to Henrik Fisker, the company is on target to start delivering Fisker Ocean SUVs in November this year as planned.

Fisker is currently in real-world test and validation phase, which is progressing well. Today, Henrik Fisker was with professional race car driver Abbie Eaton on the Bridgestone European Proving Ground in Aprilia, Italy. Abbie drove a Fisker Ocean prototype around the track to help dial in the driving dynamics.
