Fisker Ocean is still a hot electric vehicle with 6,000 new reservations added since the Annual Shareholder Meeting in early June.
Today, Fisker released earnings and Ocean reservations have climbed again. The company added 6,000 net new reservations since the Annual Shareholder Meeting on June 7th.
Fisker Ocean reservations totaled over 56,000 as of August 1, 2022 (net of cancellations), including 5,000 Fisker Ocean One pre-orders.
These number are quite impressive. This compares to 45,000 reservations announced on the Q1 2022 earnings call and 31,000 as of the Q4 2021 earnings call.
The pace of reservations dropped below 1,000/week since the Annual Shareholder Meeting. We estimated the company would hit 58,000 reservations. Nevertheless, this is quite an achievement to see reservations continue to climb. Fisker also announced over 4,000 PEAR reservations. This was inline with out initial projections. However, the company didn’t surprise us to the upside. All reservation numbers reflect growing interest in the company’s electric vehicles. We expect reservations in both Fisker Ocean and PEAR to continue to grow as near start of production.
