Click bait much? What is the basis for this claim? Are you having trouble monetizing your online venture? It sure seems that way.
We don’t serve ads on our site. No interest in monetization. Look around, people are still receiving invites to pre-order the Fisker Ocean One. It’s not a bad thing, it is what it is.
Sean – you said its not a bad thing, but as someone who put down the non-refundable deposit, should I be concerned? I assume the people who are skeptical are holding off but being this far into the pre-order requests and possibly not getting the response they expected, I wonder if there may be concern internally. Thoughts?

I’m not worried Gary. I pre-ordered the Fisker Ocean One too. I put down a $5k non-refundable deposit as well. I’m not concerned one bit. Fisker will eventually sell out of the Ocean One. It could be later today, tomorrow, or next month. It will happen when it happens.
I admire your respectful answer to a very dumb comment.
So if I got an invite for Fisker Ocean One today, after reserving end of May ’22, my chances of getting an Ocean One Launch edition are slim to none, right?
If you received an invite to pre-order a Fisker Ocean One today, that means you could purchase the launch edition right now. That is until they are gone or your invitation window closes (i.e., 7 days).
A-ha! Thank you, Sean. Now, how do I prequal for their financing?
HF grossly miscalculated the demand for One/Extreme – it took 50000 reservation holders get commitment for 5000 Ocean One’s. At 50,000 units to be manufactured in 2023. It looks like they should be producing about 4,000 cars each month. Assuming there will be demand for another 5000 Extremes next year, my guess they would start to prioritizing Ultra’s and Sports in late Q1 or early Q2 next year.
I am an early reservation holder from 06 Jan 2020; my position is 757 (early reservation holders were assigned entry id’s in the reservation confirmation email) – I am patiently waiting for my Ultra
Got an invite. Reservation made 3/2022. Main reason people might pass on it that there is not much information about finance. 5000$ non refundable does seem a bit strange too.
Waiting to physically see and test drive a Ocean. I have a reservation in from January 2020 but not willing to put down a big deposit without a real model to tryout. Prefer the Ultra version as well
I put down $100 for a second ocean one in February and have not heard a word! If they still have ocean one’s I should have been asked for my $5000. Bob
