Fisker Ocean Headed to Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona

Making its European debut, the Fisker Ocean will be on display at MWC beginning February 28th in Barcelona, Spain.

Europe is essential to our company as we work toward the start of production in November at a carbon-neutral factory in Austria. We aim to make the world’s most sustainable vehicle and to start deliveries in Europe this year. Ultimately, we expect to sell 60,000 units annually in the region.

Fisker announced the Fisker Ocean is headed to Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 in Barcelona for its European debut a week from tomorrow. MWC 2022 runs Monday, February 28 through Thursday, March 3rd at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via (pictured). You will be able to find the Fisker Ocean in Hall 3, Stand 3D20, at the Gran Via.

The Fisker Ocean is likely already in Spain ahead of the show as the company will be setting up their stand later week ahead of the show. Maybe we will see the Fisker Ocean spotted on the streets of Barcelona or in front of the Mediterranean Sea as another breathtaking backdrop like the Pacific Ocean.

The biggest takeaway from Fisker’s MWC press release was the mention of the company expecting to sell 60k units annually in the region. While it is still early, it seems to be very achievable given the momentum Fisker is seeing with its Fisker Flexee app downloads in European app stores.

Fisker is investing heavily in Europe with Fisker Magic Works in London to develop high-performance projects, Fisker Mobile Service to deploy at-home service technicians throughout Europe, experience centers in London, Copenhagen, and Munich, and of course the manufacturing partnership with Magna Steyr at their carbon-neutral facility in Graz, Austria to build the Fisker Ocean.
