Fisker quickly shares video of their flagship electric SUV at a ChargePoint charger and then deletes the video.
Today, we wanted to share a video clip circulating the web of a Fisker Ocean at a ChargePoint charger. It appears to be the same Fisker Ocean with a Night Drive exterior and 22″ SlipStream wheels that was in Henrik Fisker’s garage. You know, the garage where we saw the first Wallbox EV home charger installed! Below is a copy of the video found online.
Apparently, Fisker posted the video for a brief time online yesterday morning. Then the video was quickly deleted. The company only posted it to Facebook, not Instagram or LinkedIn like they typically do with all their posts. Fisker hasn’t been very active on social media as of late. The company used to post photos and videos daily across all of their social media channels. We’re not sure the reason for the slowdown. However, it’s raising a lot of eyebrows with homologation (government certification) anticipated by the end of this month.
Nevertheless, the video clip shows a person searching for a nearby charger, visiting a ChargePoint charging station, and recharging the Fisker Ocean. The video captures the ease of charging a Fisker Ocean. The narrator says, “Hey Y’all, I’m feeling a little drained after work. So I’m gonna take you all with me to find a charger and recharge. All you need to do is open up your phone, pull up your maps, and search for a charger. Once you find one near you, you can start your route, pull up to your charger, plug it in, sit back and relax. It’s really that easy.”
