104 days to the start of Fisker Ocean production, Fisker is headed to Magna next week to discuss preparations ahead of November.

Today, Henrik announced he will be flying out to Graz, Austria next week. He will be visiting the Magna factory to check on Fisker Ocean prototypes and get ready for electric SUV production.
Henrik said he will be seeing more vehicles coming off the production line at the CO2 neutral factory. Fisker and Magna will be discussing preparations for start of production on November 17th. As of right now, we are 104 days away from the start of Fisker Ocean production.
During the earnings call this week, Fisker said Magna has completed 55 complete Fisker Ocean electric SUV prototypes. Each of them have been built in Magna’s Austria production facility. Fisker said that Magna continues to build additional prototype vehicles for ongoing extensive testing. For example, this includes crash testing, safety, powertrain, high and low-speed features, and much more. We look forward to more updates on ADAS testing, which Fisker said it would previously share with us.

Sean, do you know if there is a financial advantage to purchase and pick up our Ocean in Austria, Drive it during a vacation there, and then ship it back to the states as a used vehicle?
That would certainly be fun Jim, maybe even an adventure! I haven’t heard that as an option at this time. I haven’t even looked into it, but would imagine Fisker would get better shipping/logistics rates than any individual could possibly get. Technically, it could be done if you have a handler in Austria to take delivery of your vehicle for you. Fisker said that we needed our delivery address to be up to date in the app. That means you would have to get someone to help you out abroad if that is your plan.
in theory pick it up in austria, with the waterproof upgrade you should be able to drive along the bottom of the sea back home..
