With over 75 Fisker Ocean SUV prototypes built, we are creeping closer to the start of production which is now only 174 days away.
We are now 174 days away from start of production (SOP) for the Fisker Ocean. As we creep towards SOP, a lot of progress is being made at Magna Steyr. We are seeing Fisker’s asset-light approach take place right in front of our eyes.
Last week, there were over 60 Fisker Ocean prototypes completed. Now the number of Fisker Ocean prototypes built has climbed over 75. The Fisker Ocean production line at Magna Steyr is now at a pace of building two prototypes a day. Two Fisker Oceans per day until start of production (SOP) was the original plan.
Henrik Fisker shared there is “huge progress” going on at Magna’s CO2 neutral factory. Henrik said Magna heavy stamping is making huge progress on facility installation. There are now 125 automotive assembly robots already installed at Magna. Henrik went on to say that Fisker Ocean prototypes keep getting tested. The company is still on track for November deliveries.
