Start of Production for the Fisker Ocean is November 17, 2022, which will be here before we know it.
The night before Mobile World Congress, we are 263 days until the start of production (SOP) for the Fisker Ocean. The SOP date is November 17, 2022. It can’t come soon enough for reservation holders. ???? Fisker has been working hard to hit milestone after milestone. As reported earlier this week, pre-production of the first 50 Fisker Ocean SUVs is now underway at Magna Steyr. Excitement surrounds the Fisker Ocean and the company itself with employees, stakeholders, and fans.
We expect the excitement to continue this week. We look forward to seeing some big announcements in the next 24 hours with the European debut of the Fisker Ocean at Mobile World Congress. Fisker needs to keep the excitement up to hit reservation numbers which appears to be on track. By the end of this year, Fisker expects to have at least 50,000 reservations. Henrik stated reservation numbers were over 32k on 2/22 during the fireside chat at Citi’s tech and mobility investor conference.
Something is brewing and we like the smell of it. We saw Henrik Fisker walk the production line at Magna on Friday along with a newly minted Fisker Ocean with a camouflage wrap. Hopefully this Ocean will appear at Mobile World Congress. Henrik teased us again mentioning it was packed with secret stuff. We will be ready in the morning at 12:35am PST to watch the live stream, 262 days until the start of production.
