Start of Production for the Fisker Ocean electric vehicle is November 17, 2022, which will be here before we know it.
We are 238 days away until the start of production (SOP) for the Fisker Ocean at Magna Steyr. The SOP date is November 17, 2022. It can’t come soon enough for reservation holders. ???? Fisker has been working hard to hit milestone after milestone. Excitement surrounds the Fisker Ocean with employees, stakeholders, and fans as traffic to the company’s website has soared in the past 90 days.
By the end of this year, Fisker expects to have at least 50,000 reservations. Henrik stated reservation numbers were over 33k on 2/28 at Mobile World Congress, the last confirmed reservation numbers. We expect a big announcement over the coming weeks for a fleet order with a European car rental company. This will help boost reservation numbers. Our analysis shows total Fisker EV reservations stand at 36,500 at this very moment. Fisker needs to keep the excitement up to hit reservation numbers which appears to be on track.
There are a lot of upcoming catalysts for Fisker as well as potential partnership to be announced ahead of the Fisker Ocean launch in November. In addition to partnering with European car rental companies, we see other deals in the works. For example, on one hand we believe Fisker will partner with an innovative finance company for auto loans to purchase the Fisker Ocean. On the other hand, we could see a relationship with an online car reseller to support trade-ins. Lots to be excited about with only 238 days to go.
