Official Fisker Ocean Owner’s Meetup, Software Updates, & European Expansion

We bring you up to speed on the first-ever official Fisker Ocean owner’s meetup, software enhancements, and Fisker’s expansion into Europe.

Today, we’re updating you following an eventful weekend for Fisker. The company’s activities spanned two continents as it continues to expand. Firstly, Fisker organized its inaugural owner’s meetup and software update event in the Los Angeles area over the weekend. Concurrently, Fisker hosted a pop-up test drive event in San Diego, which we attended and covered on Saturday. All of these customer-focused activities occurred alongside the company’s expansion into new European markets.

The official Fisker Ocean One owners meetup provided a platform for owners to connect, share experiences, and foster a sense of community. Owners drove to Fisker’s La Palma facility to update their electric vehicles with the latest software packages. While the software update took place by service techs, owners were transported to the Fisker Lounge at The Grove.

As proud Fisker Ocean owners, this gathering offered us the chance to meet fellow owners from the vicinity and engage in an interactive session with the company’s C-Level executives. In a group of approximately 50 attendees, owners freely spoke with Fisker management, offering candid feedback. For instance, suggestions were made to improve ‘low’ tones in music to really feel the bass with certain music.

Owners shared dozens of feature requests for the Fisker Ocean’s software. Collaborating with Fiskerati Forums community members, we compiled, rewrote, and categorized 41 feature requests. During the session, we personally handed two paper copies of these requests to Henrik Fisker. Impressively, we’ve already received word that Fisker management has thoroughly reviewed each request. The company has committed to providing us with a written response, which we will promptly share with you.

The features we presented to Fisker management covered various aspects, including convenience and user experience, security and privacy, climate control and comfort, customization and personalization, navigation and connectivity, driving assistance and safety, as well as remote control and energy management. We understand that not every feature request will find its way onto Fisker’s product roadmap, and we’re perfectly content with that. Aside from getting 13 new software enhancements to our Ocean One, the most significant takeaway from this event is Fisker’s genuine commitment to listening to its customers and taking care of them.

Fisker Expands to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland

Earlier today, Fisker officially announced its expansion in three new European markets. This launch brings some exciting updates for customers in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. Firstly, Fisker’s dual-homologation strategy is being well utilized, allowing Fisker to establish a strong and early presence in Europe. Customers in the new launch markets will discover dedicated country-specific websites for ordering the Fisker Ocean. Just like customers in other European markets, those in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland will experience the same direct-sales model.

Secondly, customers in the three new launch countries will also experience the benefits of comprehensive Fisker service and sales support. Fisker aims to implement its European strategy for Fisker Lounge and Center+ locations in these countries. The company plans to set up retail stores, delivery points, and service centers in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, strategically positioned near major cities. The start of Fisker Ocean deliveries in these new markets is scheduled for the end of September.
