The Fisker Ocean receives EPA range approval, achieving a range of 360 miles, surpassing all other new electric SUVs under $200,000 sold in the United States today.

Today, the all-electric Fisker Ocean Extreme achieves an EPA estimated total range of 360 miles on 20″ wheels, surpassing Fisker’s previous estimates. Yes, you read that correctly — 360 Miles — EPA approved!! The EPA values confirm that the Fisker Ocean Extreme has the longest range among all new electric SUVs sold in the United States today, priced under $200,000.
The Fisker Ocean Extreme has received the EPA Certificate of Conformity and the California Air Resources Board Executive Order, approving its sale and delivery in the US. The CARB Executive Order grants the Fisker Ocean Extreme the maximum 4.0 Zero-Emission Vehicle credits per vehicle sold. Furthermore, the Fisker Ocean Extreme recently completed all applicable FMVSS testing required for US NHTSA self-certification and meets NCAP standards for a 5-star rating.
That is super exciting news for all Fisker customers, whether you’ve reserved or pre-ordered a Fisker Ocean One, Extreme, Ultra, or Sport. Fisker’s flagship electric SUV is now sellable here in the United States including the company’s limited edition launch vehicle, the Fisker Ocean One. Fisker said it will contact customers the “first wave” of North American customers later today.
Last night, we polled viewers on All-Things Fisker: Episode 27 about this specific subject matter. We wanted to know, “When will Fisker receive EPA range approval?” 104 votes came in. 40% of the viewers thought Fisker would receive EPA approval next week, whereas 26% thought it would be this week. We expressed our thoughts on why Fisker would get EPA approval this week. We are super excited for the company and every Fisker team member that made this possible!
“A lot of hard work went into achieving these results, and it feels great to give our customers a better range than we had estimated. Delivering an EPA 360 mile range in the US and WLTP 707 km range in Europe gives our drivers what they want: a fantastic 5-passenger vehicle, and the confidence they’re driving the electric SUV with the longest range available in an affordable new vehicle. This is a huge milestone for everyone at Fisker. We are looking forward to getting Oceans to customers in the US, and we plan to send out communications today to our first customers.”
Henrik Fisker, Chairman & CEO, Fisker Inc.

???? “That is super exciting news for all Fisker customers, whether you’ve reserved or pre-ordered a Fisker Ocean One, Extreme, Ultra, or SPORT.” ?????????
707 km wltp and 360 mi epa cannot apply to “Sport”, can it?
It has a smaller battery afaik.
Why isn’t SPORT tested for wltp and epa?
I need to know before I reserve an Ocean Sport.
Each Fisker Ocean trim needs to undergo its own EPA testing. Fisker Ocean Extreme/One was first. Next up will be the Ultra and Sport.
Yay! Another level of excitement! Congratulations!
You bet, super exciting!!
