Today, Fisker made an exciting announcement about the opening of a new experience center in Europe, marking its official entry into Switzerland. With this addition, Fisker boasts a total of nearly 12 experience centers catering to customers across Europe. The latest one, Fisker Center+ Switzerland, is now welcoming visitors in Dagmersellen, nestled amidst snowcapped mountains on the outskirts of Lucerne.

Over the past few months, the company has been actively engaging with Swiss electric vehicle enthusiasts through various events, offering a sneak peek at its flagship electric SUV. The doors of Fisker Center+ Switzerland are now open to customers from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. As with all Fisker experience centers, dedicated Fisker Advisors are present on-site to provide comprehensive answers to any questions customers may have.

On Friday afternoon, Fisker announced the promotion of David King to Chief Technology Officer. David King, previously the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Fisker, boasts an extensive background in vehicle engineering and team leadership. He spearheaded the development of the Fisker RÅŒNIN, positioning it as one of the most technologically advanced electric vehicles in the market.

Excited about his new role, King took to LinkedIn over the weekend. He expressed pride in being appointed CTO of Fisker. He highlighted the successful launch of the Fisker Ocean and the formation of an outstanding team, pledging to give his best for even more significant achievements. King went on to state, “I’m ready to give my all to delivering even more and even better!”

The news follows Dr. Burkhard Huhnke’s departure from the company at the end of October for personal reasons. Huhnke has been the CTO at Fisker since summer of 2020. In addition, a filing this morning revealed Florus Beuting’s appointment as the Chief Accounting Officer by the Board of Directors at Fisker. Beuting brings a wealth of experience from other publicly traded companies. This shake-up unfolds just days before the announcement of Fisker’s Q3 2023 quarterly results scheduled for Wednesday, November 8th.

  1. Nice to see the expansion of another experience center. This news, while beneficial for reaching into the Switzerland market, it’s clearly not the sort of initiative or catalyst that “disrupts” as you astutely called for, Sean, in your October 30th article.
